13th May

Hi everyone!

Hope you're having a good week, whatever that might look like for you! Our personal experiences of lockdown are going to be fascinating to compare when we all eventually come out of this - I've gone through the vivid-dreaming period, passed the counting-the-days stage, and just about avoided the bouncing-off-the-walls in frustration bit, but I find myself now worried that I've forgotten how to interact with other people normally, and will forever remain in the putting-things-on-the-floor-and-scurrying-away-to-an-appropriate-distance way of passing things on to other people stage!

But speaking of passing things on to other people, here are this week's notices that i need to pass on to you. (clever link I know, thanks!)

Mum's Alpha Online

A new Alpha course is starting - for mum's led by mum's.  If you know a mum who doesn't normally come to church, but may have questions about life, faith and meaning, why not invite them.  Mum's Alpha runs every Wednesday morning at 11.00am for just 40 minutes.
If you're not a mum, we have two other Alpha Online courses running, in the morning and evening.
For all courses sign up online at:

School of Theology

We believe theology can, and should, be done by everybody - and we want to make it easy for as many people as possible to do just that.

So from Monday 18th May we're hosting School of Theology - meeting each monday for 8 weeks on Zoom, 10.30am-midday, watching a video to get some top quality theological input from St Mellitus college, accompanied by space to discuss and reflect on it as a group.

No prior study required, no hoops to jump through, just bring yourself and your own thoughts!

Calling All Evangelists!

Do you have a heart to share the good news of Jesus with people outside the church?  Have you experience of seeing people come to faith?  If so, you are invited to a zoom meeting on Tuesday 19th May, 8pm-9pm to share ideas of how we might evangelise during lockdown.
