We are so excited to be looking for a new Children & Families Pastor to come and join our team.

St John’s Crawley, an HTB Network Resource Church, is looking for a contagiously passionate follower of Jesus to lead our ministry among children and families, both within our congregation, its church plants and in the community. At the invitation of the diocese we are growing a flourishing partnership of churches within Crawley at St John’s, Crawley, St Peter’s, West Green and St Richard’s, Three Bridges, with more church plants to come in the coming years. As we seek God’s Kingdom in Crawley, our team is expanding as opportunities for mission and ministry increase.

A vital part of this movement is our work among children and families.

The exceptional person we are seeking will equip and encourage our children’s ministry team and take a hands-on lead in the discipling and pastoring of children and those who care for them.

They will also spearhead leadership of a new Children & Families Centre at our St Richard’s site in Three Bridges, as we seek to meet local families with the love and power of Jesus.

They will play a role in facilitating a Children’s & Youth Work Forum across the area, encouraging and connecting with other churches who are engaged in this ministry.

We believe God’s word and the Holy Spirit can transform individuals and communities. The post-holder will have daily personal experience of the transforming presence of God in their lives and will be passionate about enabling a younger generation to grow in their faith and experience of Jesus.

We would actively welcome married couples who might apply as job share.

We encourage applications from those of black, Asian and minority ethnic backgrounds.

The post comes with a pro rata salary of £24,000
