Welcome to KIDS at SJC. At St Johns we LOVE families and love spending time with your KIDS to help them grow in the way of Jesus.
It’s a place we can worship, play games, read the Bible, pray, laugh and have fun together.
All children are cherished, loved and welcome. If your children require any specialist support we would love to be able to support you in this way, so do get in touch.
Coming up: Crib Service
2pm & 4pm
Christmas Eve 2021
We have KIDS church on Sundays at our 9am traditional service and our 11am informal service for children aged 3-11 (pre-school to year 6). We have loads of fun and discover more about growing a relationship with Jesus. To find out more please contact email@example.com
TOTS @ the Bridge
On a Friday morning 9.30-10.45 we have our TOTS group. This is a fun and safe space for 0-5’s to play, engage in craft activities, sing and generally have a great time, it’s also a great space for their adults to take a breather, and connect with other local parents and carers over refreshments. It’s free to come and we meet in ‘The Bridge’ (St John’s hall). To find out more please contact firstname.lastname@example.org
This is a 6 week course for parents and carers of young children, meeting on Fridays at 11am (straight after TOTS), we treat you to coffee & pastries and provide a safe space to explore different aspects of parenting guided by a facilitator. Every parent needs the help and support of others through the ups and downs of raising children, this is a perfect opportunity to give and receive that support while making new friends.
The course is free, but is space limited. We run ‘Kids Matter’ on demand so please contact email@example.com to find out when the next course is running.
Parenting for Faith
This is a course for those raising their children to know and love Jesus. It’s a fantastic resource that gets really practical about how we actively disciple our children and our role as parents, grandparents, aunts, uncles, or anyone who cares for children.
The goal of the course is to help parents discover that they are perfectly positioned to show their children the reality of a life with God and to empower them to have their own vibrant two way relationship with him.
We run ‘Parenting for Faith’ once a year. To find out when our next course is, contact firstname.lastname@example.org
