Leadership
Steve and Liz both met while working in London and have been married for 26 years. Through their marriage and journey together, they have experienced the amazing love and grace of God and are passionate that Church Crawley would be a place where this same love and grace would be experienced. In September 2017 they began with their three daughters Grace, Alice and Lily the new exciting adventure of leading Church at St John's, St Peter's and St Richard's.

Valentina is helping with Finance. She has been in Crawley for a couple of decades and travelled to over a dozen countries. Valentina is married to Ken. They are passionate about the Word of God and sharing it in Crawley and beyond. She would adopt all homeless cats if she could.

Paul Fitzgerald
Creative Lead
Paul is our Creative Lead. He has previously worked as a Graphic Designer in both Cambridgeshire and London but has always wanted to work on projects that have a social or faith-based aspect to them. Away from work, he is a keen film enthusiast, likes reading or watching anything horror related and loves all things football.

James is our Worship Pastor. He has lived in Crawley his whole life and is married to Emily. James has a passion for sung worship and music, for creativity and all things guitar, and is so excited to see the worshipping community in the heart of Crawley grow.

Reninca is married to Carwyn and has two children. She has previously worked as a special needs primary school teacher and worked for Hope Health Action as a missionary in Haiti and with refugees in Uganda.

Will is our Ordinand which means he is training to become a Vicar in the Church of England. Outside the Church Will has a passion for all things cars and F1 and has now realised that dream of owning a Ferrari has come crashing down since working at a Church.

Alex has lived in the area since he was 11 but decided to move to Crawley a year ago to get more involved in God’s plan for the town. He loves exploring the area, whether by foot on a bike! Alex previously worked in the world of Parliament but is currently considering a future in the church.

Emily has lived in Crawley her whole life. She has spent the last few years working in a local nursery. She is enthusiastic about helping the youngest members of our community to get to know our amazing God. Outside of church she enjoys reading, hiking and camping.

Helen is married to Mickey and together they have two sons. Helen co-ordinates The Bridge Cafe, a social action cafe for probation officers and their clients.

Joel is a curate at St John's. He grew up on the Isle of Wight and is married to Rachel (who grew up in Northern Ireland). He's passionate about seeing people step into the fullness of life that Jesus offers, as well as watching American Football and perfecting his home-brewing coffee set up.
